All Saints Estate is celebrating a remarkable achievement at the 2025 Halliday Wine Companion Awards, cementing its reputation as a leading winery in Australia. The estate has been honoured with the prestigious Fortified Wine of the Year Varietal Award and has secured an esteemed Five Red Star winery rating for the seventeenth consecutive year.

Top Honours for Fortified Wines

At the 2025 Halliday Wine Companion Awards, All Saints Estate’s NV RutherglenMuseum MuscatandMuseum Muscadelleboth received perfect scores of 100 points. The Museum Muscat also claimed the coveted Varietal Award for 'Fortified Wine of the Year'. This accolade marks the second consecutive year that All Saints Estate has been recognised with this award, under the expert guidance of fourth-generation winemaker Nick Brown.

A Tradition of Excellence

Retaining its Five Red Star rating is a testament to All Saints Estate’s consistent production of wines that exhibit exceptional quality and typicity. This year, the estate surpassed expectations with eleven wines scoring 95 points or higher.

Winemaker Nick Brown expressed his gratitude: “Our Museum Muscat, a blend averaging 100 years old, has been honoured with prestigious recognition. The judges admired its luscious, rich character, which is a hallmark of high-quality fortified wine from Rutherglen. This is a very proud moment for us.”

Impressive Table Wine Reviews

The 2022 vintage wines have also received glowing reviews. The2022 All Saints Estate Pierre, a Bordeaux-inspired blend named in honour of the late Peter Brown, was praised by critic Jeni Port. She described it as "an effortless meld highlighting the group’s heady aromatics and natural earthiness, set against a background of ripe black and red fruits," awarding it a notable score of 95 points.

The2022 All Saints Estate Durifwas celebrated for its balance of power and elegance. Port noted, "A fragrant, supple, smooth Durif with plenty left in reserve. Dark berries and plums, dried rosemary, violet, bitter chocolate, spice, and a touch of amaro bitters introduce a wine that runs long, with tannins wrapped nicely around the whole," also receiving 95 points.

The2022 All Saints Estate Marsanne, scoring 90 points, showcased the best of Rhône Valley varieties in Rutherglen. Port highlighted its generous, waxy texture and flavours of "ripe, lifted honeysuckle, apple blossom, green almond, quince, and citrus with white stone fruits," resulting in a crisp and bright profile.

Nick Brown reflects on the significance of these accolades: “Receiving scores from the Halliday team is a key benchmark for us. It not only allows us to compare with past years but also demonstrates the quality of our wines for that particular year.”
